The intent and purpose of this education session is to facilitate the OCMCA MFR and Basic EMT Epinephrine Supplement (MaBEES) Program Annual Update to all participating life support agencies (LSAs).  The MaBEES Program is designed to facilitate the EMS education, assessment, and implementation that is necessary to safely allow MFRs and EMTs to draw up and administer epinephrine via intramuscular (IM) injection in place of an epinephrine auto-injector, per protocol.  Each LSA participating in MaBEES is required to have at least one representative attend a MaBEES annual in-service.

CE Credits offered to participants:

  • IC: 1 Education Administration

The following objectives will be covered during the in-service:

  • Identify the intent, purpose, and requirements of the OCMCA MFR and Basic EMT Epinephrine Supplement (MaBEES) Program.
