Welcome to the new Oakland County Medical Control Authority website!
I want to first thank you for providing outstanding EMS service to Oakland County, as well as your participation in all of our studies. I would like to use this space to update you about what’s going on around the OCMCA. We have so much going on at the moment; a few important highlights consist of:

New data system: The State of Michigan chose Image Trend as the state-wide vendor for providing the data software, as well as housing the server. The OCMCA has been piloting the new program with 10 EMS agencies in Oakland County. Each agency may choose to use Image Trend, or any gold-compliant software. Our objective is to have every agency up and running by October 1.

800 MHz Radio System: So in just two-weeks (just kidding), but we are working toward bringing townships/cities on the new system. It looks like most of the bugs have been worked out and the County is ready implement other communities. Troy and Farmington have been using the system for several months, so stay tuned, you may be next!
